We collect what we need to do the job and reply to you. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.

What we collect

• Your name, address, phone number, and email when you book or request a quote.
• Notes you share with us in the booking form or by phone.
• Photos and readings we take during the visit, used to document the work.
• Anonymous analytics about which pages people read on this website.

Why we collect it

• To dispatch a technician to your address and complete the job.
• To communicate about your job — confirming windows, sending invoices, sharing reports.
• To honour your warranty if a part or installation needs follow-up.
• To improve our website (only at the aggregate, anonymous level).

What we don't do

• Sell or share your information with brokers or list rental services.
• Use your job photos for marketing without explicit permission.
• Add you to a marketing list when you book — only the quarterly journal newsletter requires explicit subscription.

Third parties

We use a small set of trusted services for normal operations: Stripe (payment processing), FinanceIt and Snap (financing), and Google Workspace (email and calendar). We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this website.

Your rights under PIPEDA

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, request that we correct it, or request that we delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. Email hello@equinox-hvac.com to begin a request.

How long we keep things

We retain customer records for seven years for tax and warranty purposes. After that, records are securely destroyed.
